Tortilia chips

Tortilla chips… a wonderful food. Each chip carefully fried to be just perfect.

But not all of them are created equal, some have too little salt, a very few have too much, some are oily, while others have been treated to the ultimate indignity and baked instead. Some are flat and hard, while others are so thin that they could be used as weapons in an action movie.

The perfect tortilla chip is light, well puffed up, thin and crispy, with just enough salt to give it flavor, but not to the point where it overpowers the taste of the corn, also it shouldn’t taste like oil at all.

Add a nice hot salsa (with ghost peppers please,) and you have the perfect snack… without the salsa they still make a good snack, but just not quite as perfect.

To sum it all up: a perfect tortilla chip is perfection.
