Weather forecasts are about as reliable as betting on a sure thing.
Here in Denver, on Wednesday, the forecast called for snow, maybe an inch in the city, ending early Thursday morning, noon at the latest.
Come noon yesterday, it was still snowing, it kept snowing all afternoon as well. Last night the forecast called for snow going through Saturday morning.
This morning it was clear, not a flake of snow fell that I saw.
Mark Twain said no one ever did anything about the weather, but now we’re faced with forecasters who can’t forecast… Maybe we need to send the weather people back to school, or at least create better computer models.
