The end is near…

The end of the year, that is.
It is that time of the year where we like to look back before looking ahead.
For the rest of the year I’m going to be doing just that.
I’m planning on doing a quick look back at my blog, plus a look at where I’m hoping to take it over the next year.
I’m going to also take the time to tell you my thoughts on the recent Christmas special of Doctor Who, which I’m looking forward to.

However,  for this post, I think I’ll ask a simple question: since the new year was once on April 1st, should we take that into consideration when making our resolutions? If so, would we get an extra three month to do them,  or would we only have three months to do them in?
While that might sound odd, I wonder if we’d be better off if we wouldn’t be better off if we would give ourselves more leeway to get things done.

What do you think, do we put too much pressure on ourselves to keep yearly resolutions? Would we be better off with more (or less) time to do them in? Please feel free to comment!
