The weather isn’t quite frightful, but it still has a hint of holiday in it. Those two facts can be used to determine that it’s not Halloween, but rather Christmas and New Years.
This is the time of year that everyone has big plans, plans for eating, drinking hot chocolate and just generally celebrating.
This is also the time of year that cats plan out attacks on whatever is bringing the outside in, be it a tree, wreaths or other decorations, so watch out. Cats can also plot to unwrap gifts, particularly gifts with ribbons on them, so a bit of extra caution is called for.
Nothing says that you’re celebrating a winter holiday like hot chocolate, the first taste of that scorching liquid that reminds you that it’s winter, the sweetness of the marshmallows that just shouts Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and whatever holiday you might or might not celebrate.
This is also a great time to carve out a few minutes of your time to catch up on your comic book reading. There have been plenty of holiday/winter related comic books printed over the years, grab one, read it and relax. You’ll get a laugh or two, which will help you enjoy your holiday a bit more.
While there is over a week left in the year, it a great time to begin thinking about what comic books you’re planning on reading next year. A new year is a great time to get into that series you’ve been wanting to read, or to catch up on an old favorite.
The most important thing this holiday season is to relax and enjoy whatever you’re doing… and to keep your cats safe and calm, that can be a full-time job in itself.
